Main objectives of the course:

By completing the process of education in the subject student:
– knows the conditions for the establishment and emergence of various forms of business,
– understands the principles of creating and developing a business idea,
– can apply these principles and procedures in the development of their own business idea,
– manages personnel, technical, financial and information resources for business.

Continuous assessment / evaluation:
Elaboration of assigned tasks: max 10 points. Development of a business establishment project, including its defence: max. 40 points. Total max 50 points. Concretization of individual tasks (project topic, its syllabus, assignment topics, etc.) together with deadlines is given in e-learning.


Final assessment /evaluation:
The exam is in writing. It consists of closed and open questions. Test: min. 30 points - max. 50 points. The student can get a maximum of 100 points in total - 50 points from the exercises and 50 points from the exam.
To enroll for an exam student must have 31 points.
Course outcomes:
By completing the course, student:

- can apply these principles and procedures in the development of his/her own business idea,
- manages personnel, technical, financial and information resources for business.
Course scheme:
Lectures: 1. Introduction to entrepreneurship and its forms. 2. Creating a business idea, matchmaking. 3. Analysis of competition and market 4. Segmentation and people 5. Validation of business idea. 6. Decision-making about the form of business (trade, business company, simple company for shares, start-up). 7. Personnel, technical, financial and information resources for business. 8. Founding budget and cash flow. 9. Business plan, business modelling. 10. Design sprint, branding and marketing 11. Pricing, sales, income taxation 12. Intellectual property protection 13. Profit or loss. Business risks.
Exercises: Development of the business establishment project with a business idea. The practice of topics covered in lectures.
