Professional qualifica-tion level: Bachelor’s degree. – Žilina FRI ŽU, 2021. – 56 p.The aim of this thesis is to acquaint the reader with the concepts Quality of Service, Service Level Agreement and methodology of measuring IP network parame-ters with emphasis on the cloud type Infrastructure as a Service. Furthermore, the work deals with the design, implementation and evaluation of delay, loss and through-put measurements in the SANET network between FRI UNIZA and GVO Žilina. Cisco IP SLA technology in combination with the Zabbix monitoring tool as well as the perfSO-NAR open license solution are used to perform the measurements. These tools are described with emphasis on the software solution perfSONAR. The results of meas-urements and testing of the functionality of the used technologies will be helpful in the further solution of the project at KIS FRI UNIZA.
