Increasing the security of communication network infrastructure

At present, we can observe a massive digital transformation of communication infrastructures and internal or external services of organizations from various fields of technology and industry into cloud environments, not excluding the management of these systems. However, implementing these modern solutions while achieving the expected level of quality and availability brings many new challenges in various aspects of the operation and use of cloud computing (CC) systems. One of the critical is the efficiency, availability, reliability, and security of the cloud environment, which is influenced by the solutions to the issues of monitoring and management of the involved systems. Cloud computing systems, in general, and no matter what types of deployments, are a technology that is closely tied to the communication infrastructure through which they provide their services. The stability of IP networks is essential both in this area and in other aspects of life (industry, intelligent infrastructure, clouds, healthcare, and others). These technologies, whose services are often used in real-time, require a quality connection without outages. However, the rapid response of IP networks is an aspect for which such deployment types have not been proposed. This brings challenges such as high resilience to accidental outages, which are constantly addressed in networks also concerning the progress of service development (cloud and real-time), technologies (software management approaches), and new areas of deployment (IP everywhere). During network outage, the availability of not only critical services is significantly degraded, which leads to problems with achieving the required operational and user quality.
