Main objectives of the course:

The purpose of the course is to provide an up-to-date perspective on the field of communications. The emphasis is on providing solid understanding of underlying theoretical concepts, while also mastering practical skills in signal and communication analysis.

Course outcomes:

5. Anatomy and physiology of speech production
6. Speech synthesis and speech perception
7. Phonetic theories
8. Acoustic correlates of speech sounds
9-12. Current topics in speech research
