The objective of the bachelor thesis is an implementation of selected functions of RIP (Routing Infromation Protocol) in Python language (backend) as well as a user-friendly interface, WebGUI, to set the RIP function parameters (frontend) for the Linux operating system. Theoretical part includes description of routing protocol RIP, as well as used resources such as program GNS3 and Python libraries. Solved implementation of routing protocol and user-friendly interface in the practical part. At the end of bachelor thesis testing of implemented RIP routing protocol and the possibility future extensions of this protocol was done.
