Main objectives of the course:
Completing the course student will gain a closer theoretical view of network security issues as well as adequate skills. The course will also prepare students for initial certification in the field of network security.
After course completion the student will:
• Knows the theoretical aspects of network security
• Knows about network threats
• is familiar with security devices (Firewall, IDS / IPS, ASA) and knows their deployment aspects
• is able to configure security devices
• is able to design and deploy a security management system for smaller networks and businesses
