The aim of this work is to examine the existing recommendations for Zero-touchinstallation and configuration of the Linux distribution. Subsequently, the process mustbe tested on test systems and the process documented. In the first chapter, we’ll talkabout what Linux is, where we can meet with it, and also we‘ll talk about things in termsof mount disk and what a disk image is and how to create one in Linux. In the secondchapter we will explain the theoretical information about Zero-touch and also how tosolve updates of several devices at once. In the third chapter we will present the PXEprocess, the course of which we will then practically show on virtual machines in chapters 5 and 6. Specifically, in Chapter 5, we will configure the PXE server, we meet withDHCP, TFTP, HTTP, NFS, also create a PXE boot menu, and finally look at the possibilityof using preseed files or cloud-init technology. Chapter 6 will deal with setup and installation on the PXE client.
