Testovanie možností bezplatných Next-gen firewallov

The aim of the presented bachelor thesis is to analyze the possibilities of free and open-source next-gen firewalls, to compare the functionalities of each solution, to perform a follow-up experimental deployment of the selected solutions and to validate them. The theoretical part of the thesis describes why network security is important, presents the differences between ordinary and next-gen firewalls and compares free and open-source solutions with each other and with paid solutions. The practical part includes the experimental deployment of the chosen solutions, the installation and configuration procedure on a physical device, its implementation in a home network and the verification of the device functionality.
