Zuzčák, Tomáš: Software Defined Wide Area Networking – Analysis. [Diploma Thesis] – University of Žilina, Faculty of Management science and Informatics, Department of Information Networks. – Head: Doc. Ing. Pavel Segec, PhD. – degree of professional qualification: Engineer in Applied Network Engineering. Žilina: FRI ŽU in Zilina, 2019. – 97 p.The aim of this thesis is to analyze the SD-WAN solution. The main principles of SD-WAN technology as well as the technologies used and the state of standardization are discussed. Weak and strong features are also described against competing technologies such as MPLS VPN, DMVPN, IPsec. Solutions from three selected manufacturers are analyzed and described: Fortinet, Cisco and Nokia. Thesis also describes what benefits SD-WAN offers to customers and what organizations it is suitable for. The deployment status and services that are based on SD-WAN are described too.
