The goal of this bachelor thesis is the creation of a program that implements bots for selected IM platforms. Using this program, a user of an IM platform can communicate with added network devices. The program supports communication with devices from selected vendors.The first section of the thesis is concerned with defining IM platforms and their composing parts but also describing the general functionality of each part. This part is also focused on describing methods with which users and developers can communicate with various IM platform interfaces and analyzing interfaces and possibilities of IM platforms. The ones that are used in this thesis include Discord, Matrix, and Telegram. The second section of the thesis describes interfaces of network devices from vendors like Cisco, MikroTik, and Fortinet.The last section documents the structure of the program and describes interface implementations of IM platforms and network devices. It also describes a scenario where messages are sent to the program, simplified installation of the program, and usage of the program.
