Nasadenie výkonného open-source smerovača

This bachelor’s thesis focuses on the analysis and comparison of freely available open-source routers, with an emphasis on routing performance, their deployment, and configuration. The main goal is to compare the efficiency of two solutions — traditional Linux routing using standard operating system tools, and the modern FD.io framework, which is based on Vector Packet Processing (VPP) technology. Performance will be measured using tools such as iperf3 and mpstat, focusing on network throughput and CPU load. Finally, the two solutions will be compared and their advantages and disadvantages evaluated.
