Tunelovacie mechanizmy na L2 OSI/ISO

The aim of the bachelor thesis was to familiarize oneself with the technology of tunneling at the L2 layer of the OSI/ISO model. It addresses basic concepts, explains protocols used in addressing this issue, and explores their deployment on devices.The theoretical part of the thesis elucidates fundamental concepts of this issue, such as VPN, network virtualization, and provides a more detailed insight into specific tunneling protocols utilized in its resolution. A comparison is made primarily on their utilization advantages, frame structures and functioning in the network.The practical section deals with the specific deployment of protocols on devices. It compares the support of these protocols on selected devices from various brands, we document the implementation of some of them on specific topologies and verify their functionality.
