SDN riadenie cloudového riešenia

The goal of this thesis was to deploy and install a private cloud server that leverages the concepts of SDN (Software-defined networks). One of the requirements was to use the open-source cloud orchestrator Openstack for managing the cloud infrastructure, as the private cloud deployed in this thesis was intended to be a simplified version of the Openstack cloud operating at the department, enhanced with SDN implementation. The thesis includes an analysis of suitable available solutions and the current state of the technology. Additionally, the private cloud was deployed in both single-node and multi-node configurations and its functionality tested. The thesis also includes user documentation and benefits gained for the department.
