Žilina: FRIUNIZA, 2025. – 53 pages.The aim of the submitted bachelor’s thesis is to create a functional L2 VPN con-nection on client operating systems Linux and Windows. The theoretical part of thethesis explains the basic concepts related to tunneling and describes the available L2protocols on MikroTik and Cisco devices. At the end of the theoretical part, a comparisonof selected tunneling protocols is provided. The practical part presents both successfuland unsuccessful implementations. The unsuccessful implementations include the pro-cedures and descriptions of the methods used during the attempts.
