The aim of the Master’s thesis was to review available projects and tools responsible for automatic deployment of the private cloud computing solution OpenStack, especially using containerization and orchestration. The aim was also to choose one or more of such projects, which would be deployed in a demonstrative environment, and describe installation steps, test typical use cases and evaluate the added value. The first chapter is dedicated to defining theoretical terms from fields like cloud computing, virtualization, containerization and OpenStack platform. In the second chapter we are exploring available projects responsible for deployment of OpenStack platform using containerization and automation and comparing them with native deployment using packaging tools. The last chapters are dedicated to description of practical deployment of the chosen projects and their summary subjective evaluation after the deployment, along with recommendations for further work.
