Žilina: FRI ŽU in Žilina, 2020 – 71 pages.The objective of thesis is to create solution of web service implemented by platforms LXC, LXD, Docker. Theoretical part of the thesis contains brief introduction of virtualization and containerization. In the thesis there are described solutions of security, network, storage and best practises of implementation for each platform. There are also processed architectures and file structures. Thesis interprets for reader the use of containers in Linux systems. All three platforms are then compared. It involves advantages, disadvantages and use case of platforms. In practical part there are structure of web service and network, in frontend and backend part. Thesis then contains demonstrations of creation and configuration of web service. There are described scenarios of backup, container transfer and monitoring for each platform.
